The Israel Securities Authority was established under the Securities Law-1968, which defines its function as protecting the interests of the investor public. The ISA regulates the securities industry in Israel, including companies who issue securities, mutual funds managers, trustees, ETFs issuers and other market participants such as stock exchanges and clearing agencies. 

Geographical Jurisdiction

We regulate the securities industry including: public companies, the mutual funds and ETFs industry, primary and secondary markets, (stock exchanges, clearing houses and trading platforms), portfolio managers, investment advisers and investment marketing agents, credit rating companies. 

  • Guidance on the application of laws and rules to innovative business models 
  • Support with authorisation to operate in our jurisdiction
  • Waivers or exemptions, for any entity meeting certain criteria
  • Engagement with firms on regtech and suptech solutions
  • Engagement with innovators and/or other third parties (e.g. academics, consultants and other organisations)
  • Facilitating hackathons, TechSprints or similar events
