United Arab EmiratesThe Securities and Commodities Authority (SCA) is a public authority set up as a legal entity in the UAE on January 29, 2000 by a federal decree issued by H.H. The President of the UAE. SCA enjoys financial and administrative independence with the control and executive powers necessary for it to discharge its tasks of supervising and monitoring the securities markets in the UAE. Since its inception, SCA has been putting the objectives stated in the Federal Law No. (4) of 2000 into effect by sparing no effort to strengthen the legislative structure in the UAE capital markets through issuing such regulations and instructions that ensure the development of the organizational and supervisory framework of the listed joint-stock companies and other companies operating in the securities markets in the UAE. Our vision is to build a sustainable investment environment within an advanced financial market. Our mission is to safeguard the rights of investors, promote sound practices, and create an environment attractive to capital, using innovative systems.
